CHUBB SECURES LANDMARK TENDER


Chubb, a leading provider of telecare and telehealth solutions in the UK, has clinched a significant framework agreement for the Scottish Digital Office, recognising its state-of-the-art cloud-based remote personal care alarm monitoring platform Cloud Care Control.


Cloud Care Control leverages cutting-edge SaaS (Software as a Service) alarm management platform and embraces the Next Generation Network (NGN) infrastructure. This ensures swift and efficient remote monitoring of personal alarms, benefitting public sector organisations like councils, health and social care providers, and housing associations – offering crucial assistance to vulnerable individuals when they need it most.


Established in 2016, the Scottish Digital Office plays a pivotal role in aiding Scottish local authorities with their digital transformation endeavours to enhance service delivery and efficiency. By adopting Cloud Care Control by Chubb, Scottish local authorities will be able to elevate their remote support, offering immediate, intelligent care for vulnerable people instilling confidence that they are in safe hands. Integration with other IoT platforms allows for seamless data gathering and analysis, ensuring a holistic experience.

The British Safety Council’s International Safety Awards 2024 are now open for applications.


The International Safety Awards are an internationally recognised accolade for health, safety and wellbeing excellence and this will be the 66th year they have taken place. The awards recognise an organisation’s commitment to excellent standards of health, safety and wellbeing management.


In 2023, 773 organisations of all sizes, types and sectors won an International Safety Award. The winners included businesses from the UK, Africa, Asia, India, mainland Europe and the Middle East. A full list of 2023’s winners can be found here.

The closing date for applications is 9 February 2024 and the results will be announced on 11 March 2024.
