NEW BRANDING A trusted fire safety leader for more than 100 years, Kidde Safety Europe has unveiled a significant rebrand. With a new logo that represents the home combined with the strapline: The Power to Protect, the roll-out of the new identity started to hit the merchant and wholesaler shelves on new packaging earlier this year with the launch of Kidde’s new Co2 Monitor. Kidde is a part of Carrier Global Corporation, global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.
The new look sees Kidde Safety Europe move away from its traditional shield logo to one that now represents a home, with the lettermark icon representing the ‘K’ in the Kidde name. Furthermore, as part of the overall rebrand, the company’s portfolio has been
streamlined, a move which will mean the popular FIREX brand name, will cease to exist. Crucially, the same high-quality and reliable products will remain available – but simply rebranded and repackaged as Kidde.

UNIGLOVES STRENGTHENS ITS
PREMIUM CUT RESISTANCE RANGE Hand protection specialist Unigloves has further strengthened its cut resistant Nitrex range with the launch of the 241NF and 241NFX gloves.
Valuable additions to its performance cut resistant work gloves, the 241NF and 241NFX boast the highest level of cut protection (cut level F) available, offering the wearer superior resistance against sharp and abrasive materials, abrasion cuts, tears and punctures thanks to Unigloves’ NitreGuard Technology.
As a result, the gloves are ideally suited for workers across a range of industrial settings where cut threats exist including automotive manufacturing and aftermarket, construction, engineering, glass handling, industrial manufacturing, utilities and transport and logistics.
In addition to high performance cut resistance, the 241NF and 241NFX also feature Unigloves' NitreGrip Technology delivering a secure grip in dry, wet, or oily environments.
The medium weight, 13-gauge seamless cut resistant liner combined with HPPE and steel, allows breathability while ensuring maximum cut protection, in addition to excellent dexterity, flexibility and comfort, effectively reducing hand fatigue during extended use.
Both gloves also feature a sandy nitrile coating resistant to oils and grease, forming a protective barrier for hands.
