STOKODERM SUN

PROTECT 50 PURE Deb

Deb’s Stokoderm Sun Protect 50 PURE lotion improves sunscreen coverage and reduces UVB absorption into the skin by up to 50% compared with an SPF30. It solves the issue of spray sunscreens, which are still an effective form of protection against harmful UV rays, but are likely to be applied quickly and often carelessly – therefore not offering an adequate amount of coverage.

Boasting a high UVB 50 performance, Deb Stokoderm Sun Protect 50 PURE sunscreen provides 50 times the skin’s normal protection against the sun’s UVB rays. It conforms to the European recommendation for providing protection against the harmful effects of UVA rays, and – while it does not replace personal protective equipment – it provides additional protection against UVC rays created artificially during certain industrial processes, such as arc welding.

Deb Stokoderm Sun Protect 50 PURE is both water and sweat- resistant, which means that the product can remain on the skin for a longer period of time in outdoor environments, withstands immersion in water and is clinically proven to provide the same level of protection when sweating. This sunscreen also offers quick skin absorption to ensure that the dexterity with tools isn’t affected after sunscreen application.

The perfume-free nature of Deb Stokoderm Sun Protect 50 PURE helps to reduce the potential for allergic reaction and skin irritation – making it ideal for people sensitive to fragrances. It is also silicone- free, making sure it has no adverse effect if in contact with surfaces prior to the application of paint or surface coatings.

TOUCHCONTROL FIRE

TOUCHSCREEN Advanced Co

Fire systems business Advanced has launched TouchControl, its new touchscreen fire system repeater and remote control terminal, which features Active Maps and zone plans.

TouchControl uses a 10” HD touchscreen to deliver a range of panel and network control and monitoring features, plus dynamic graphics and zone plans called Active Maps.

Active Maps allow any image from a technical drawing to be used to display fire info, with multiple views available allowing users to interrogate the status of zones in a site from different angles or scales.

When not used in Active Map view, it features a colour-coded interface that displays device, zone and network information, using the touchscreen to facilitate easy control and interrogation. Users can immediately identify zones and devices in fire, fault, disablement, test or normal operation via colour-coded status buttons.

TouchControl is a network node in its own right, working in standard or fault-tolerant modes and is designed to be recessed and flush fitting to enhance all architectural environments. The background image can be changed to show any image from site plans to logos or products. A surface mount option is also available.

Another feature for its use in public areas is the ability for users to add presentations, company introductions, visitor boards or safety information to run when the fire screen is not reporting fire system information. As soon as the screen is touched or a fire condition arises, it reverts back to fire operations.
