SPERA UL RANGE Nittan Europe
Nittan Europe has launched the SPERA analogue addressable fire alarm system, Nittan’s first complete UL approved range.
SPERA is a flexible, expandable, highly-reliable system developed by Nittan for countries and regions requiring UL approved fire safety systems, including the USA and the Middle East. It was officially launched at this year’s FIREX exhibition.
SPERA has been designed with flexibility at the heart of the system. It is capable of a wide range of system configurations and is customisable with an array of modules.
Readily expandable and suitable for a wide range of applications, including large sites with multiple buildings, SPERA uses an RS-485 interface and accommodates up to 254 addresses per two loops, with a capacity of 14 loops per control panel and up to 63 panels in one network running over copper and/or fibre optics. As a result, up to 224,000 addressable devices can be supported on one SPERA system alone.
The SPERA panels come with a number of valuable features and functions, including an interlocking simulation and manual activation. Furthermore, each panel is capable of monitoring others on the same network, enabling personnel to easily check the status of panels throughout the system from that nearest to them, for maximum convenience, safety and speed. For larger sites with multiple buildings, an optional LED board is available as a mimic panel to monitor the network fire alarm system.

LOCKING ANTI-FATIGUE MAT Notrax
The 570 De-Flex is an extremely comfortable heavy duty anti-fatigue matting system with popular diamond plate traction surface that can be easily assembled for coverage of large areas or individual workstation mats.
The durability and resilience of the rubber creates an energising rebound effect or “deflection” that stimulates automatic balance checks to improve posture and constant micro movements to maintain blood flow.
The 19mm platform elevates and insulates the worker from the hard ground while the bulleted domes underneath allow the mat to bend and “flex” with every movement. The popular diamond plate surface provides traction yet allows easy twist turns for freedom of movement for dynamic workstations. The extended ramp system prevents tripping and allows cart access with smart beveling solutions for inside and outside corners.
These 45x45cm modular rubber tiles are designed with a universal double-locking system on all sides to ensure an extra strong yet seamless connection for fast installation. Simply lay and double lock these handy tiles together to assemble individual mats, wall-to-wall flooring or islands, in any direction or shape.
Available in a range of rubber compounds for general purpose applications, resistance to industrial oils, ESD static dissipative and fire retardant applications. Also available with Grip Step II for extremely slippery areas.
