G7C Blackline Safety

Meet G7c — Blackline Safety’s award-winning connected gas detector with integrated cellular connectivity, two-way voice communication and live monitoring. G7 automatically connects workers in distress with Blackline’s 24/7 live monitoring team, arming them with critical insights to manage optimised emergency responses in real-time.

G7c’s award-winning design features field-replaceable cartridges. The exclusive modular interface allows teams to customise gas detection for any environment. Choose between a Single or Quad gas cartridge, then select from a range of gas sensors including hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, oxygen, carbon monoxide, ammonia, chlorine and LEL.

It can be difficult for many businesses to prove their gas detection program compliance. The Blackline Live web portal provides businesses with the opportunity to wirelessly configure G7c devices and track the compliance of their fleet; every bump test and calibration is wirelessly communicated to the Blackline Safety Network, driving a real-time compliance dashboard. The online dashboard provides up-to-date indicators for G7c equipment use and whether any systems are not compliant according to calibration or bump testing requirements. With built-in wireless, there’s no software to install, no Wi-Fi networks to configure and no expensive, intrinsically-safe smartphones with Bluetooth connections to manage.

Blackline delivers the world’s first turn-key, work-anywhere connected safety monitoring solution with gas detection, in order to meet the demanding safety challenges of organizations around the world. G7c communicates every safety incident and gas alert immediately, empowering an active and optimised emergency response. From detecting gas leaks to monitoring lone workers and evacuating facilities, alarms don’t save people — people save people.

HAVWEAR Reactec

Reactec provide monitoring devices and a management information reporting platform for Hand Arm Vibration (HAV) risk - the cause of one of the most common industrial diseases in the UK, White Finger Syndrome or HAVS. The condition is the permanent disablement of hand functions and there is no known cure for this disease, only prevention.

HAVWEAR is the only technology of its kind in the UK to be worn on the wrist by the tool user and, as part of the Reactec Analytics Platform with web-based reporting, provides an automated exposure management system. The reports help support HSE compliance and aid the design and management of risk reduction controls.

A new Bluetooth feature on HAVWEAR’s award-winning device allows supervisors and others to see, at a glance, the status of co-workers’ exposure risk at any time via an app on their smartphone. This enables real time assessment of risk and facilitates early intervention, allowing issues around work rotas, tool usage or performance to be addressed without delay. These interventions are an essential part of a company’s continual risk reduction plan, allowing an unprecedented level of proactive involvement through this enhanced ability to monitor individual exposure. This further supports behavioural change and encourages both tool operator and their supervisor to participate in risk reduction with increased awareness of their personal HAV exposure risks.

A further new suite of services has also been added to the Analytics Platform to support the management and tracking of risk reduction activities.
