By far, one of the highlights of this product is that, even when extended to its highest setting, it remains completely stable and does not begin to wobble. I would often find myself leaning on it if I was writing something down, speaking to a client on the phone or just generally putting my head in my hands after a hard day’s graft, and not once did I experience an issue with its stability or hear a creak. It is incredibly firm, well-built and robust and although I’ve only tested it for two months, I feel it has significant longevity in it. Given the five-year warranty on the product, I think it would be fair to say Ergotron have confidence in the lifespan of the WorkFit-T as well.

looking from the outside in, I thought sit-stand desks would take away from both of these things – I regarded them as a trend that would surely fade over time. What I found however, was that the simple utilitarian versatility of the WorkFit-T gives you the freedom to work in any way you wish and I found myself working stood up more than I imagined I would. You find yourself naturally wanting to move positions more, and it never had an impact on concentration levels because of the ease with which one can switch positions.
