OVA8 READY TO REPLACE RIVALS IN WINDOW
CLEANING INDUSTRY Ova8, a carbon-fibre, anti-spin pole for the window cleaning industry is the first product of its kind on the market, the company claims.
The “radical and innovative concept” started in 2013 and is said to not only increase productivity in the window cleaning world, but also dramatically reduce the health and safety risks associated with the job.
The two flat sides of the anti- rotational pole provide more stability, and subsequently, more control for the operative, assisting in reducing the ‘whipping effect’ that can be experienced by using other water-fed poles.
The oval carbon-fibre pole shape is down to the shaped clamps, which were created to mimic the shape of the pole itself and are also packed with new, innovative engineering.
Founder Richard Everingham spent years finetuning the design in an effort to overhaul the troublesome clamping system seen on more traditional poles.
VIRGIN MEDIA CALLS IN
PARETO FM Pareto FM has secured a hard services contract with Virgin Media at its newly refurbished UK headquarters in Reading.
The deal will see Pareto FM deliver all associated mechanical, electrical and fabric-related maintenance, as well project management services.

“The answer was not redesigning the round clamping system, which so many leading brands are and had previously been doing wrong,” he explained, noting that all of the Ova8 products, including the adaptors and accessories, have elements of anti- spin technology.

Ova8 poles were launched in January 2018, and immediately began distributing in the U.K. and Europe, and the team has worked hard to extend their distribution network to Oceania and North America.
Eight months after launching, Ova8 was a finalist in the Technological Innovation of the Year category at the European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards 2018.
