EVENT PREVIEW

WJA TRADE SHOW 2025: BIGGER AND BETTER

WJA Trade Show 2025 presents the world of water jetting in one place. Here, we take a look at what’s in store and why FMs should be attending.

From the importance of pressure washing for cleaning and maintaining structures to the power of hydrodemolition in modifying them, WJA Trade Show 2025 is the must-attend event for FM professionals who make use of water jetting.

The exhibition – which is free to attend – takes place at StoneX Stadium, North London, on Thursday 11th September, and is the UK’s only show dedicated to all forms of water jetting.

It is being hosted by the Water Jetting Association, the water jetting industry membership body, for the second year, and has grown in size with more stands and two external specialist equipment display areas.

WJA Chairman Lee O’Callaghan said: “Water jetting is vital for industrial cleaning, sewer and drain unblocking, and building maintenance, which is why WJA Trade Show 2025 was so well attended last year.

“There will be even more to see this year, with exhibitors showing off a wide range of cutting-edge services and equipment that will interest FM and cleaning services specialists.”

Visitors are expected from across the UK and internationally. Representatives from the FM, construction, oil and gas production, petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals sectors are lined up to attend.

Safety systems and advice on offer WJA Director Leanne Smith said: “Water jetting in all forms is a safety critical process. Even at lower pressures, as used in pressure washing, there is a risk of serious injury from using jetting systems.

“That’s why FM and workplace safety professionals will be among the visitors at WJA Trade Show 2025. It’s the only day when experts from across all sectors of the industry will be on hand to share advice.

“The WJA’s technical team will also be there to talk about our three codes of practice for water jetting – for high and ultra-high pressure jetting, drain and sewer jetting, and pressure washing.

“We’ll have information about the accredited training the WJA offers across all forms of water jetting. Visitors can leave fully-informed about how to ensure water jetting carried out on their premises is safe and compliant.”

Visitors will also see exciting new water jetting technologies designed to make surface and pipe cleaning, surface preparation, material cutting and hydrodemolition safer and more productive, with some exhibitors putting on equipment displays.

20 | TOMORROW’S FM

Free to attend and free parking They include the latest hand-held lance systems and robotic machines, plus innovative pump systems that allow water jetting to be carried out more sustainably with less water and less energy.

Three specialist manufacturers will be taking advantage of the extra space afforded by the external display areas to take new compact jet vac tankers to WJA Trade Show 2025.

Bucher Municipal, Rioned and ROM jet vac tankers will be on display, reflecting the popularity of smaller specialist drainage vehicles in the UK, especially for delivering services in congested urban areas.

Free tickets for the exhibition can be booked online. This year, there is a new rapid registration system so visitors waste no time getting on with seeing the exciting equipment and services on display.

There is free on-site parking right next to the exhibition entrance. StoneX Stadium, home to the Saracens Premiership Rugby Club, is located five minutes from Junction 2 of the M1, just off the A406 North Circular Road.
