Hello and welcome to the December issue of Tomorrow’s FM.

Our last issue of the year also happens to be our biggest. We’re taking these pages with us to the Facilities Show, now part of Anticipate London, and expect to see many of our readers there. From 2nd-4th December, thousands of visitors are set to attend the exhibition at ExCeL, London to explore how building technologies and digitalisation are driving change, while addressing key challenges like decarbonisation, global risks, and shifting regulations. With hundreds of exhibitors, hours of CPD content and plenty of roundtable discussions, it’s the place where everyone involved in facilities management needs to be.

With more than 110 countries expected to attend, the event offers a global perspective on the most pressing challenges and opportunities across various interconnected industries. Topics on the dedicated Facilities Show Stage will cover hybrid working, workplace trends, ESG, energy, electrification, PropTech, and effective budgeting, and will be presented by some of the leaders in their fields working for the biggest FM companies. The preview starts on page 42, so do check it out if you’re planning on visiting. If you are attending the show, please do come and visit us on stand FM 2026. We’re a friendly bunch and love speaking to readers past, present and future.

We also have some of our spotlight features in this issue. George Tilbury, Commercial Director at Consensus Workspace, offers his advice on how FMs can take steps to make workplaces more inclusive for neurodivergent employees in our Design & Interiors feature, whilst Baxi asks what opportunities there are for FMs to reduce the carbon intensity of domestic hot water generation to support sustainability goals in our Hotels & Hospitality focus.

Enjoy the read.
