MITIE BAGS £130M HMRC CONTRACT
Mitie has been awarded a five- year contract, worth £130m, with His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) for the delivery of integrated FM services across the ‘East Region’ of HMRC’s estate, including asset maintenance and projects works.
Mitie will deliver planned and reactive engineering, waste management, carbon reduction, landscaping, cleaning, and catering services across 28 HMRC sites. This includes its regional hubs in

Cloud Technology, Cybersecurity and Data Privacy, and Sustainability. By exploring these trends, clients can delve into unique insights from the industry’s leading security technology manufacturers and technologies, as well as the marketplace – including exclusive survey data on technology adoption, implementation, and future investments shared by electronic security decision makers from over 1,100 organisations around the world.

HMRC’s FM services were previously delivered by five suppliers, with this being the first time it has allocated the contract to two suppliers covering the East (Mitie) and West (Sodexo) regions respectively.
The contract builds on Mitie’s existing relationship with HMRC, having delivered specialist security services across its entire estate since 2019, with a new contract being awarded in March this year.
