BECO CLARITY – The Soap Co.
Award-winning social enterprise, CLARITY-The Soap Co. launched its new BECO brand in the Summer of 2018 putting meaningful change for disabled and disadvantaged people firmly into the supply chain of organisations seeking to save water and do good.
Originally developed in co-operation with Interserve and the Cabinet Office, BECO is a Better Considered movement: making things better for the people who make it, better for the people who use it and better for the environment.
With 6250 doses per 5L container, BECO lasts twice as long as liquid soap - saving 1760L of water per 5L container - and reduces overall consumption of plastic at the same time. BECO is also vegan, readily biodegradable, hypo-allergenic and never tested on animals.
In addition, every 5L container of BECO sold creates one hour of employment for someone who has a disability or a long-term health condition. Switching soap in office washrooms has never been easier as ever more organisations are proving, including: The Cabinet Office, LV=, Coca Cola and Nederlander Theatres – who own The Aldwych Theatre in London’s West End.
BECO is now available through major UK supply chains including via distributers Bunzl, Jangro Ltd and Zenith Hygiene Group Plc. This means access to all of the social and environmental benefits of engaging social enterprises without increasing the number of suppliers.
