TORK SMARTONE Essity
When it comes to the Tork SmartOne toilet paper dispenser, the clue is in the name.
This highly popular toilet tissue system is as smart as they come since the dispenser limits the amount of paper consumed while also reducing the risk of toilet blockages and helping to prevent cross- contamination.
The Tork SmartOne has been the choice of public facilities such as hospitals, schools and universities all over the world for the past 12 years. This is because the dispenser naturally reduces the amount of paper taken by each user which in turn cuts consumption and costs. Tests have shown that the system can reduce consumption up to 40% which means that each roll lasts for up to 98 more visits.
Single-sheet dispensing also results in lower quantities of tissue entering the drainage system – and this helps to alleviate costly and time-consuming blockages.
And the fact that the unit is completely enclosed apart from the aperture at the front where the paper is drawn out means that neither the hands nor objects can be placed inside it, dramatically reducing the risk of cross-contamination. The dispensers are fire-resistant and vandal-resistant, while the dual-setting lock allows customers to choose their own security level.
Each Tork SmartOne roll contains 1,150 sheets while the Tork SmartOne Mini has 620 sheets per roll. And the Tork SmartOne Mini Twin has two 620-sheet rolls and is designed to reduce the risk of run-outs in high-traffic washrooms.

TREE AND VEGETATION
SURVEY & MANAGEMENT ArborFlight Limited
ArborFlight, specialists in Tree and Vegetation Survey & Management, have brought to the UK market Airborne Tree & Vegetation analysis.
Utilising fixed wing aircraft or Unmanned Aircraft System (CAA PfCO Cert UAS7235),
combined with hyperspectral and multispectral
cameras to determine height, area, precise location, clearance distance from infrastructure and health of trees and vegetation. This geospatial information can be inserted into your GIS system or our own Tree Management software. ArborFlight provide additional data analysis to issue resulting remedial work to contractors and manage budgets.
Where a tree is hazardous due to disease, decay or structural weakness, and shows signs, the land manager is normally liable under UK law for any personal injury or damage caused. FMs have a liability of risk which needs to be managed. Budget constraints are a real issue for managers of large, widespread estates. Sites are often spread across the country and carrying out ground surveys requires teams of tree surveyors. This often results in ‘reactive’ tree management, with defects from tree failure and subsequent damage to assets reported by site engineers, other site visitors and neighbours.
In comparison to a typical ground survey which can analyse just 200 trees per day, ArborFlight can typically survey more than 20,000+ trees per day.
It is estimated around 2.4% of trees surveyed require immediate remediation work. Their innovative system surveys large areas of trees very quickly, to pinpoint stressed, dying and dead trees. ArborFlight then direct ground surveyors to the exact location of these problem trees.
