QUEST+ DECONTAMINATION UNIT EMS Healthcare
As a specialist provider of mobile medical units, EMS Healthcare prides itself on providing innovative solutions that address some of the healthcare sector’s most pressing challenges.
Working closely with healthcare providers, EMS Healthcare has developed the UK’s first fleet of mobile endoscope decontamination units – a groundbreaking innovation for the endoscopy market that is saving hospitals considerable time and money.
In another first for the market, EMS Healthcare has partnered with reprocessing equipment provider, Cantel (UK) Ltd and RO plant provider, Veolia Water Technologies, to provide a one-stop solution for endoscope reprocessing needs.
The unit enables hospitals to continue endoscope reprocessing services without disruption, creating efficiencies either when in- house decontamination is
running at
refurbishments are required, or equipment has reached the end of its eight-to-ten year lifecycle.
The single trailer solution has been designed in accordance to JAG guidelines and features medical grade materials throughout. It
is a completely independent
Reprocessors, a double endoscopy grade height adjustable sink, integral RO plant, a track and trace system and clean and dirty areas enabling a one-way flow for scopes. With a footprint of 15.5m x 6m, Quest+ Decontamination minimises the space required on site.
The unit is currently utilised at a number of hospital estates in the UK, including Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield. Here, Quest+ Decontamination has been introduced to ensure continuity of services while vital department refurbishment takes place, and is creating significant efficiencies for the hospital.

QUICKBOOK NFS Technology
NFS Technology’s innovative QuickBook solution is the answer to helping agile workforces make the most of their workspace.
QuickBook uses the latest web development technologies including HTML5 to provide a powerful mobile room and resource booking app that works on multiple platforms.
Increasing mobile usage across an organisation drives a demand for access to more ad hoc bookings, increased video conferencing and the need for an optimised user interface.
QuickBook works seamlessly with platforms including Outlook Exchange, and - uniquely – Office 365, making it ideal for mobile workers who use cloud-based solutions.
NFS chief executive Luis De Souza said: “QuickBook addresses a number of different issues for office managers and staff. If you’re out of the office and want to book a desk for your return, the intuitive interface makes it possible to book from wherever you are.
“People booking meetings that require AV and catering can book them all in a single transaction via Outlook, desktop or mobile device – the solution works on any mobile device,” he continued.
PAs and meeting organisers also benefit from an interface that makes it faster to book rooms and services for several meetings thanks to integration with NFS’ comprehensive Rendezvous meeting room and desk booking software.
Luis De Souza concluded: “QuickBook is a major step forward in empowering staff to organise their working environment proactively, and also helps organisations to manage their workspace efficiently and productively.”
