BICSc shares insights at Clean & Tidy
Home Show Experts from the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) shared the latest industry insights and knowledge at this year’s Clean & Tidy Home Show.
The popular show again attracted thousands of visitors with a host of engaging and fact-filled presentations and demonstrations on offer.
Industry-leading BICSc shared top tips and the latest innovations in the cleaning community and sector with visitors to the show staged at ExCel, London, on 19-20 October. BICSc and fellow industry professionals shared the latest developments in the domestic cleaning community and professional sector at its exhibition stand at the event, which featured numerous exhibitors, industry experts, alongside a host of popular ‘cleanfluencers’ and celebrities.
BICSc Group Managing Director, Neil Spencer-Cook, was joined by some of the team from the Institute who took part in presentations, Q&A sessions, and supported the show’s awards, with Commercial Director Denise Hanson taking part in the awards council to help highlight and select this year’s worthy winners.
Neil Spencer-Cook said: “It was fantastic to be keynote speakers at this year’s Clean & Tidy Home Show, which was another successful event. The BICSc team were delighted to have the opportunity to share our collective, extensive experience and knowledge with visitors to the show.”
Kelsey Hargreaves, Technical Manager at BICSc, hosted numerous ‘Ask An Expert’ sessions throughout the two- day event, giving advice, top tips and information on some of the latest issues. Topics tackled included how to clean effectively while minimising environmental impact, showcasing sustainable practices, eco-friendly products and strategies to promote a cleaner planet through responsible cleaning habits.

CIWFM status Matthew Lockton, Sales Director at integrated FM provider 14forty, has achieved Certified level membership with the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM).
The qualification recognises extensive senior and strategic experience in the FM sector.
As a senior leader at 14forty, Matthew has been instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of the business as well as being responsible for creating tailored FM strategies for new and existing clients.

With more than 63 years’ experience, BICSc is the largest independent, professional and educational body within the cleaning industry, with over 66,000 individual and corporate members, and over 29,000 training course enrolments this year.
