NORTHWOOD HYGIENE PRODUCTS STAND: E05

Leading manufacturer and supplier of away-from-home professional paper hygiene and wiping products, Northwood Hygiene Products, is showing a formidable line-up of brand new and established products at the Cleaning Show.

Making its first appearance at the show is the comprehensive new Raphael range. Developed to cater for any washroom environment, whether it’s large, small, high or low footfall, Raphael delivers improved washroom hygiene standards, whilst also saving money and reducing waste.

Featuring the TwinJumbo toilet roll dispenser – the industry’s first twin jumbo high-capacity proprietary toilet roll dispenser – which holds up to 800m of roll, the Raphael collection includes two toilet tissue and four hand towel dispensers, plus a soap dispenser. For optimal hygiene, the Raphael hand drying dispensers provide contactless dispensing, whilst the toilet tissue dispenser incorporates a Biokleen-treated handle to inhibit the growth and spread of bacteria.

Visitors will also see Northwood’s newly expanded luxury Whisper range of premium pure pulp toilet rolls, facial tissues and airlaid hand towels. Combining supreme quality

with high performance, Whisper is the ultimate product for the discerning customer. Making its debut at the show is Whisper Green – the first 100% recycled luxury toilet tissue in the range.

A premium, environmentally-friendly 2-ply toilet tissue, Whisper Green uses FSC-certified, sustainably sourced paper and features an embossed pattern for added absorbency and comfort. Offering performance and quality, Whisper Green is ideal for sustainably-conscious washroom users.

The North Shore premium proprietary system of washroom dispensers and consumables will also be on show. With its clean, modern aesthetics, the range boasts industry-leading capacity and supreme cost-in-use benefits. It is easy to install and maintain, durable, hygienic and environmentally sustainable.

Central to the North Shore system range is the Orbit four roll infinity dispenser, with a capacity of up to 5000 sheets of toilet paper.

BRITISH CLEANING COUNCIL STAND: B30

There are lots of opportunities for you to get to know the British Cleaning Council (BCC) and its members better at this year’s Cleaning Show. The BCC has a stand which will be staffed by BCC and member personnel, so please come and say hello to us.

If you leave your contact details, we will provide an electronic version of this year’s research report, which is packed with fascinating facts and information about all aspects of the cleaning, hygiene and waste sector.

The show’s conference programme provides an opportunity to hear from the BCC and members first- hand. BCC Chairman Jim Melvin is the first speaker on day one, discussing the critical role of the new All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for the UK Cleaning and Hygiene Industry.

That afternoon, the Federation of Window Cleaners (FWC) will present awards to the winners of its two national competitions this year, followed by a session on technology inspired by the Cleaning and Support Services Association’s (CSSA) Innovation Showcase.

68 | THE CLEANING SHOW 2021

Day two will see the official launch of the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners’ (WCEC) Chartered Practitioners in Environmental Cleaning. Later on, BCC Deputy Chair Delia Cannings leads a session on training opportunities, focusing on apprenticeships and funding.

On the final day, Neil Spencer-Cook and Michelle Iland of the British Institute for Cleaning Science (BICSc) consider training and delivery styles for cleaning service providers. The Chair of the Cleaning and Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA), Lorcan Mekitarian, also highlights the rise of unscrupulous traders.

The CSSA’s innovation Showcase is itself a highlight, showcasing some of the industry’s most innovative products, services and initiatives.

For the first time, the show will also feature a Window Cleaning and Carpet Cleaning Village. Supported by the FWC, it offers window and carpet cleaners an opportunity to try out products, attend workshops and network.
