Welcome to the show

Tomorrow’s Cleaning Editor Martin Wharmby introduces you to our comprehensive guide the first in-person cleaning industry trade show since 2019.

Over the last year and a half, the cleaning and hygiene industry has been at the forefront of the battle against COVID-19. Without our operatives taking on the difficult and dangerous jobs making sure workplaces and public spaces are clean and sanitised, or our manufacturers and distributors producing new and effective solutions, the return to 'normality' we've enjoyed recently would have been a lot slower and more dangerous.

The Cleaning Show 2021, which takes place 2-4 November at ExCeL London, is the perfect opportunity for the industry to meet up en masse for the first time since the Coronavirus was classified as a pandemic. It gives everyone the opportunity to catch up, meet and greet new faces, and highlight all the latest in product and service innovations the industry has to offer.

In order to ensure safety and peace of mind for all exhibitors, visitors and staff, some basic COVID guidelines will be in place at the ExCeL. As well as registering for the show – which you can do HERE – and bringing along your pass, attendees will need to demonstrate their COVID status in the form of one of the followIng:

• Proof of double vaccination or COVID-19 antibodies

• A negative lateral flow test. Please note: UK-based visitors can use their NHS Covid Pass, and international visitors can use the equivalent from their country of origin.

The organisers are encouraging all attendees to perform a Lateral Flow Test before arriving at the venue. The wearing of facemasks at The Cleaning Show is optional.

Inside this special Cleaning Show Guide, you can find out more about many of the exhibitors at the show and what they’ll be bringing to the three-day event, a complete floorplan of the event so you know exactly where each exhibitor will be located, a guide to the extensive Conference Program, along with a bit more information about other events going on and how to get to the venue.

Stuart Dacre, Event Director at The Cleaning Show, commented: “We’re very excited to welcome all of this year’s returning and new exhibitors to the show after what has been a critical year for the cleaning industry. From the increasing role of automation and technology, to all-new sanitising and disinfecting solutions, we hope attendees will leave inspired, armed with the products they need to meet the evolving challenges, helping to keep employees and the public safe.”

Jim Melvin, Chairman of the British Cleaning Council (BCC), added: “The pandemic has created widespread awareness of how important it is to keep public spaces clean. Maintaining a high level of sanitation and cleanliness is the key towards a healthier and brighter future, and The Cleaning Show 2021 is set to be an inspiration for us all.”

Tomorrow’s Cleaning will be at the show, so make sure you stop by Stand E16 to say hello. We’re looking forward to seeing you all there!
