Editor’s Voice With the hugely successful Cleaning Show 2023 now consigned to the history books,

focus is turning back to the issues that have been surrounding the industry for a while now. The shortage of staff is still biting many companies, while high energy prices are also causing headaches for manufacturers – and it may take some time for things to

improve. The summer months are traditionally quiet, but that doesn’t mean the industry isn’t going to be very busy.

In this issue’s Vacuums & Sweepers section we learn more about SEBO’s latest cordless upright vacuum cleaner, the BP60, get a couple of case studies from Prochem, and learn about the benefits of using RFID tags to keep tabs on your high value and vital cleaning

equipment. Our Commercial Laundry feature includes news on SEKO supplying a laundry company in India with a high-demand commercial laundry solution, while Charlie Robards from Miele Professional explains how investing in commercial laundry equipment can benefit care homes.

Our Window Cleaning and Working at Height focus includes discussion on safety while working at height from David Saville, MD of Principle Cleaning Services’ Vertical and Specialist Cleaning Division, while we also learn about the benefits of Pure Water from

UNGER and the Ladder Association urges the Government to clamp down on the sale of dangerous ladders on online marketplaces.

Thank you very much for reading, and I hope you enjoy the issue!
