Partnership for Kärcher and TTS

Kärcher and TTS Cleaning have joined forces, pooling their resources and capabilities in order to offer customers around the world their broad range of products and services in a customised manner in the future.

With the TTS Equipment, Kärcher complements its portfolio of solutions for building cleaning and continues to position itself as a full-range supplier. TTS benefits from Kärcher’s worldwide brand awareness and comprehensive product range, expanding its market position.

Efficient building cleaning requires a combination of machines, cleaning robots and manual tools to achieve the best hygienic result, optimising consumption with both economic and environmental benefits. TTS specialises in professional manual equipment, designs ergonomic and effective solutions for any environment such as hospitality, healthcare and high traffic areas.

Marco Cardinale, Vice President Floor Care Solutions at Kärcher, explained: “We already offer products in the manual tools sector, but with the participation of TTS we will complete and strengthen our portfolio: TTS will act as our competence centre, managing the supply chain for manual tool equipment.”

The close cooperation is not only a good idea from an organisational point of view; the two family businesses

also pursue a similar strategy in terms of corporate management. Currently, TTS Cleaning is making the transition to the second generation, with an even stronger focus on the future development of the company.

Renato Zorzo, CEO and owner of TTS Cleaning, stated: “With Kärcher we have found a strong partner to raise our brand visibility, opening up new markets and channels, expanding production and increasing our competitiveness. In addition, we can now combine our innovative approach to manual tools with the innovative cleaning technology available from Kärcher.”

For clear, good visibility on the market, Kärcher and TTS have decided on co-branding with both logos.

Northwood Directors shortlisted for top award

Paul, Adam and Marc Fecher – Directors of Northwood Group – have been named as Midlands and South West finalists in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year UK programme.

It is the first time that senior figures from Northwood – a leading manufacturer and supplier of away-from-home (AfH) and consumer paper hygiene and wiping products – have been entered into the awards, which honour the achievements of the UK’s top entrepreneurs and family enterprises across many sectors, including technology, consumer and health sciences.

Chairman Paul Fecher said: “It’s an honour for myself and

my two sons Adam and Marc to be part of this prestigious programme and to be among a selection of inspiring business leaders who are making a positive impact on the economy, whilst also responding to the continued challenges that we’re all living with.

“It’s fantastic to have our family business and our team recognised as a growing manufacturing business, with sustainability, innovation and a strong entrepreneurial culture. The family is delighted to represent and direct a first-class leadership team and a professional workforce across 11 plants in the UK and Spain.”

Northwood Group services paper tissue and hygiene suppliers of tissue products to retail, professional and industrial markets. Northwood is involved at each point in the supply chain, from the raw material supply, tissue and towel manufacturing, through to end user product converting and transportation.

The UK finalists will be announced in September with the overall winner crowned at the EY Entrepreneur of The Year UK dinner and awards in November. The winner will go on to represent the UK at the ‘EY World Entrepreneur of the Year’ awards, which recognise inspiring entrepreneurs from more than 60 countries.
