Polysafe QuickLay is a loose lay safety flooring designed for adhesive-free installation and is the perfect solution for busy commercial environments in need of a quick turnaround and where sustainable slip resistance is a priority.
Designed to be a practical choice for contractors and specifiers alike, Polysafe QuickLay is a temporary or permanent floorcovering which achieves the same performance and durability as other Polysafe flooring collections but with the added benefits of adhesive-free installation. The specially formulated studded emboss on the underside of Polysafe QuickLay works as a barrier – allowing moisture to escape from the subfloor – facilitating installation over new concrete floors of up to 97% RH. The unique double- sided Polysafe QuickLay tape is fitted around the perimeter of the room, underneath all seams and doorways securing the flooring in place.
Polysafe QuickLay’s fast installation benefits made it a popular choice amongst the many Nightingale Hospitals executed across the UK to support the fight against Covid- 19. The NHS Nightingale North West in Manchester, The NHS Louisa Jordan Scotland in Glasgow and The City West in Dublin were just a few of the transformations that were carried out in remarkable timescales using Polysafe QuickLay.
Some of these facilities needed to be turned around in as little as 14 days and flooring was just one element of the transformation. For these ambitious deadlines to be met, those involved in the construction needed to work closely with suppliers that were able to supply the right products in very challenging timescales, and Polyflor were dedicated to doing just that.

Whilst quick installation was key to delivering this critical project, there was no room to compromise on performance either. Polysafe QuickLay is suitable for heavy commercial areas, features enhanced sustainable slip resistance of 45+ and benefits from the renowned Polysafe polyurethane reinforcement (PUR) cleaning enhancement, making it well suited for the demanding healthcare environment.
Polysafe QuickLay features a contemporary design in a tonal colour bank of 12 shades with a matt surface finish, providing a decoration suitable for dementia friendly environments, supported with the University of Stirling’s Dementia Services Development Centre accreditation for the full collection. The DSDC is an international centre of knowledge and expertise dedicated to improving the lives of people living with dementia which offers a product accreditation scheme. The Polysafe QuickLay collection performs exceptionally well with 10 colours achieving the highest 1a rating and 2 colours achieving 1b.
Polysafe QuickLay is 100% recyclable. It is a sustainable flooring choice, built to last but offering end of life flexibility - uplift and re-use or recycle via the Recofloor scheme.
