Tremco SX302 TREMSmooth MT is a moisture-tolerant latex underlayment designed to deliver speed, reliability, and versatility across a wide range of flooring projects.
Engineered for use in domestic, light commercial, and light industrial environments, SX302 provides a smooth, durable base for carpet, wood, and vinyl floorcoverings.
Its standout feature is its rapid setting time – accepting foot traffic in just 90 minutes and ready to receive floor finishes within eight hours – making it ideal for fast-paced construction schedules.
SX302 TREMSmooth is moisture tolerant and compatible with surface damp proof membranes, ensuring dependable performance even in challenging subfloor conditions. The product is also protein-free and extremely low in odour, making it suitable for biologically sensitive areas such as healthcare and education facilities.
SX302 TREMSmooth was recently put to the test on one of East London’s largest regeneration projects, where it
helped transform over 8,000m² of student accommodation at Hallsville Quarter. Its advanced flow properties and high compressive strength enabled efficient installation and long- term resilience under heavy foot traffic, contributing to the project’s success.
