Proflow MVS by Kerakoll UK
Proflow MVS is a self-smoothing and levelling compound with a revolutionary formulation that offers true moisture vapour suppressant properties. Developed to prevent the passage of moisture from the substrate, it has a built in moisture vapour suppressant barrier that is effective up to 95% R.H., removing the need for a damp proof membrane.
It can also be used without a primer, meaning that the installer will only have to apply one product instead of the DPM, primer and levelling compound that are necessary with conventional smoothing and levelling compounds with the consequent savings in time and money. These properties have led flooring contractors to describe it as being “a game changer” as well as a “brilliant product.”
The innovative technology has not compromised the product performance in any way. It is suitable for use on all substrates, including steel, flooring grade asphalt and adhesive residues, and with any type of tiles or floorcovering, in depths from 5mm to 12mm.
The double component compound is free flowing, with excellent self-smoothing properties giving a flawless surface
finish. It is a rapid-setting product allowing foot traffic in 90 minutes and the installation of tiles and resilient flooring in four hours, but still offers a wet edge time of 30 minutes.
