THE FLOORING SHOW PREVIEW

GET READY TO BE IMPRESSED BY QUICK-STEP UNILIN STAND: C29

Always a step ahead, Quick-Step is giving a glimpse into the future at The Flooring Show with the launch of a new Impressive collection and the world’s first waterproof and creak-free herringbone laminate, Impressive Design.

The Impressive collection is designed to answer any misconceptions about laminate flooring: waterproof, natural looking, made from 80% wood, stain-resistant and scratch- free; Impressive has an answer to it all. This extensive update to Impressive includes eight brand-new looks, with these new designs having an extraordinary 20 unique planks.

As a world first, Impressive Design will certainly be ready to impress visitors. Waterproof and creak-free, the herringbone laminate floor uses Unizip, eliminating A/B planks, and comes in six new designs, all with 56 unique planks.

Niall Cassidy, retail sales & national accounts manager, said: “The new decors in Impressive and Impressive Design not only bring two new authentic wood structures into the collection, but also a larger pattern that means more unique planks. The benefit is a laminate floor that looks more natural in every room. With the updated Impressive and brand-new Impressive Designs on hand, the team is looking forward to showing how Quick-Step is always one step ahead.”

RECOFLOOR TO EXHIBIT FOR THE FIRST TIME STAND: K2

Recofloor – a nationwide recovery and recycling scheme pioneered by flooring manufacturers Altro and Polyflor – will participate for the first time in The Flooring Show at its 2025 edition.

The Recofloor team will be present on at stand K2 in Hall K (King Suite) throughout the show. Visitors will be able to try their luck with a Recofloor lucky scratch card, with various prizes on offer including Recofloor-branded t-shirts, case studies or features in partner industry publications, a visit from the Recofloor team with a staff training session, or a discount on Recofloor collection containers.

Show attendees can also learn more about Recofloor’s UK-wide collection service, which offers a simple and economical route to recover and recycle waste vinyl flooring – either directly from project sites or contractors, or via drop-off points at flooring distributors. Once collected, vinyl is then recycled into new products, including flooring and traffic cones, providing a sustainable solution for waste commercial vinyl.

Carla Eslava, project manager at Recofloor, said: “We’re deeply excited to be joining The Flooring Show for the first time as exhibitors. Jude, Annabel and I are looking forward to meeting attendees at the show to discuss the scheme and answer any questions they might have.

“We invite anyone involved in flooring projects – especially flooring contractors fitting commercial vinyl flooring – to come and chat with us and find out more about how Recofloor can benefit their business.”
