About i-team

With an established UK Embassy in Liverpool and a focused distribution network of regional Embassy members, we bring the experience to hundreds of clients, customers and i-users every day. We don’t stop at the box at the door, and invite our customers to our experience centres which are found in 10 locations around the UK.
Our social responsibility remains key to the future of the world, and at i-team we are proud ambassadors of the Made Blue Organisation, helping to make the world a better place by mirroring our water saved with our i-mops litre by litre. We’re also on our way to B-Corp certification very soon.

Wray Bros Can you tell us more about your company and its history?
Wray Bros was founded with help from the Princes Trust by two unemployed youngsters, Mark and Graham Wray, in 1985. The two had no previous business experience, or the benefit of a formal higher education. The company began as a wiper manufacturer, buying redundant clothing from Oxfam and cutting it up to sell as wipers to local garages. 40 years later, the company now distributes 9,000 cleaning-related products and 30,000 clothing and uniform items. Additionally, it has its own in-house embroidery and print facility, producing high quality digital content at its state-of-the-art media production studio complex in the centre of Liverpool.

When did you first discover the i-team range of products? Chespack

i-team products were being advertised heavily in various industry journals; however, Wray Brothers didn’t pay too much initial attention to the products as they were regarded as just another floorcare range. Wray Bros is part of Jangro, and as such already had access to a wide range of floorcare manufacturers, so the company didn’t feel it needed to add another.
However, a consequence of having a long industry history leads inevitably to developing trusted relationships and building a wide circle of contacts, and it was via one of these acquaintances that Wray Bros was introduced to i-team.
How did the i-mop revolutionise your business? Newhall

One of the keys to success is to either ‘sell something unique or sell something uniquely’. In the case of i-mop it was unusual, as not only was it a unique product, but it was also marketed in a unique fashion and that’s a rare combination in the cleaning industry.

The marketing and development ethos used with i-mop is a common thread which continues throughout the rest of the range of products being marketed and produced by i-team. These influences have had a major impact on how Wray Bros has developed as a company over recent years.

In a joint enterprise, Wray Bros and i-team funded and built the UK HQ of the company in Liverpool. This purpose-built facility is permanently stocked with the largest complete range of i-team products. Having access to this facility is a major bonus for Wray Bros, as it allows us to invite clients into the building and demonstrate to visitors in impressive professional surroundings.
In addition, we also have access to a much larger facility in Eindhoven, which is easily reachable via John Lennon Airport.
