EDITORIAL LETTER Big things are happening...
Hello and welcome to edition 29 of the Voice magazine – the voice of Volvo Construction Equipment in Great Britain.
Big things are happening at Volvo as the first EC750E excavators begin to arrive on customer sites. The first was delivered to Collins Earthworks which you can read about on pages 36–37 and Marshalls have also taken delivery of an EC750E along with a series of loading shovels, the first in Great Britain to be fitted with the Volvo Co-Pilot Load Assist feature. You can find out more about this package of machines on pages 16–17.
In edition 28 we introduced you to Volvo’s Utility Equipment dealers and in this edition you can meet Glosrose on pages 18–19 and Cambrian Group on pages 20–21. Representatives from each of our dealers will be available to meet at Plantworx in June and at a variety of agricultural shows across the country listed on page 27.
Our feature story this month with Reive Plant
shows how an EC140E is being used to tackle a big land drainage job on pages10–13 and a big name in football, Trevor Francis buys an ECR50D for his company, Francis Homes, which you can find out more about on pages 14–15.
You may have seen on social media that the first working A60H has also arrived in Great Britain. Volvo’s largest hauler will be carrying out trials on customer sites and we will be reporting on its progress in the next edition. If you can’t wait until then to see what the A60H is up to, then please follow us online.
