Collins Earthworks lands the first Volvo EC750E in Great Britain


Collins Earthworks Ltd of Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, has taken delivery of the first seventy-five tonne Volvo EC750E to land in Great Britain following its launch at last year’s Bauma exhibition.


The new arrival will spearhead the larger prestigious projects being undertaken by the Nottingham muck shifting company and will become the company’s flagship excavator. “The reason we’ve opted for Volvo once again is simple,” states Managing Director David Collins. “We wanted to be one of the first to take delivery of this long anticipated model in the Volvo line up – not least due to the fact that we are proud to have had some input into the machine’s development with one of our top operators being invited to take
