10 Scientific Laboratory Supplies (SLS) Launch New 2022-24 Catalogue
SLS are excited to launch their new catalogue showcasing over 15,000 products, which includes nearly 2000 that are completely new to laboratories. The catalogue was launched on the first day of their bi-annual event, the Scientific Laboratory Show & Conference 2022 at the East Midlands Conference Centre in May. Through a partnership with One Tree Planted SLS have planted enough trees to offset both the production and delivery of their latest catalogue. This
involved planting over 2,500 trees and making this catalogue climate positive by absorbing over 83 tons of CO² a year. SLS have supported a project in Essex Forest, which includes the creation of wet woodland as a UK priority habitat on river floodplains including habitat creation and connectivity across agricultural land. This commitment provides nearly two hectares of forest. Find out more:

Essex is a region with very few connected forest habitats owing to it’s agricultural and urban development. This is within a country that has significantly lower forest cover than other comparable nations. The ecological benefits of creating and connecting woodland are exceptional and the ecology of each planting site is often the primary concern in the planning stages.
The Essex Forest Initiative intends to connect people with nature through the planting of trees. Community volunteer support will be encouraged in the planting and maintenance of the sites and the educational aspect of the benefits of being near to and understanding trees will be central to the legacy of the planting.
The catalogue is also produced using FSC certified paper which is paper that has been harvested in a responsible and sustainable manner. FSC certified paper utilises both renewable and recyclable paper and other print substrates made from trees, but only when they are responsibly sourced and sensitively processed. SLS are proud that all their marketing literature is produced using this method.
