15 Ovens, Furnaces & Heating Equipment Sustainable solutions for the contemporary laboratory
LTE Scientific addresses the growing demand to reduce carbon footprints with their innovative range of sustainable eco-drying cabinets, presenting a significant improvement in power usage and running costs compared to standard glassware drying cabinets.
The eco-drying cabinet range is thoughtfully designed to achieve unmatched operational efficiencies while maintaining an affordable price point. Equipped with a digital temperature controller and electronic 7-day timer, these cabinets ensure precise control and convenience.
Available in two sizes, 100 and 180 litres, the eco-Drying Cabinet range boasts full insulation on five sides as a standard feature and is furnished with glass sliding doors for easy access and visibility.
During rigorous testing, the DL100E model demonstrated exceptional energy efficiency, consuming merely 0.1kWh to elevate the temperature from 22°C to 60°C, and a mere 0.125kWh thereafter to maintain the desired heat. At a constant 75°C, the DL100E impressively used only 0.188kWh.
LTE has incorporated their hygienic Sterling anti-bacterial coating on all outer casings, ensuring a clean environment, while the interiors are expertly crafted from stainless steel for added durability and hygiene.
To further instil confidence, LTE offers, as standard, an extended 2-year warranty on their eco-drying cabinets, providing customers with peace of mind and confidence in their investment. For complete peace of mind LTE can provide a comprehensive service plan providing clients with a bi-annual service of their eco-drying cabinets ensuring longevity and safety. With LTE Scientific’s commitment to sustainability and excellence, these eco-drying cabinets are a step towards a greener and more cost-effective future. More information online:

Compact heating circulation thermostat
With the new Chili, Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau AG presents a compact, low volume, hydraulically sealed heating thermostat for use with closed temperature control circuits. Part of the Unistat product family,
the Chili is the smallest heating thermostat in the Huber range and is appropriate for use with Marlotherm as a heat transfer fluid. The device has a working temperature range of 65 to 300°C and achieves a temperature stability of +/-0.02 K. Measuring just 240 x 427 x 393 mm (W x D x H), only a small space for installation is required. It is small enough to be a direct replacement for existing ‘open-bath’ heaters. Due to its technical characteristics and competitive pricing, the Chili is ideally suited for e.g. distillation tasks in chemistry, pharmaceuticals and botanical extraction. The hydraulically sealed temperature control circuit prevents the formation of oil vapours and oxidation. This results in an increased lifespan of the heat transfer fluid adding further value. An external cooling coil (unregulated) is available as an optional accessory.
As with all Unistats, the new Chili impresses with excellent thermodynamic characteristics and a professional range of functions. The Chili guarantees high-precision, reproducible thermoregulation results with reduced heating times and wide temperature ranges. Efficient energy management minimises operating costs and economic operation.
The Pilot ONE multi-touch controller has a 5.7” touchscreen display with intuitive, icon based menu navigation. Important functions and settings are accessible in a fast and simple manner thanks to the user-creatable favourites menu. Integrated USB and Ethernet ports enable connection to a PC or network for remote control, monitoring and data recording.
