Streamline your ball milling process Over 1 NOVEMBER 2023 - VOLUME 48 ISSUE 7
With the new Planetary Ball Mill PM 300 Retsch has added another model to the comprehensive ball mill range which, thanks to elaborate features, makes everyday work in the lab easier.
The mill’s high speed generates extremely high size reduction energy, allowing for rapid sample pulverisation down to the nanometer range. The compact benchtop unit accommodates up to 4 stackable grinding jars and processes up to 440 ml sample material in one working run, which is signifi cantly more than is possible with any other benchtop unit.
Operation of this planetary ball mill is particularly safe. The robust Safety Slider ensures that the mill cannot be started before the grinding jar is securely fi xed with the help of the ergonomic clamping unit.
