New gas analyser with enhanced functionality reaches new levels of speed and precision
Highly advanced formaldehyde monitoring technology to be showcased at analytica 2024
Aero-Laser will be presenting their cutting-edge, AL4021 formaldehyde analyser at the upcoming analytica Exhibition, taking place in Munich this coming April. The AL4021 provides end users with a highly effi cient, continuous, and automated analyser capable of measuring formaldehyde levels down to ppbV for gaseous samples and µg/L for liquid samples. This analyser operates based on a fl uorimetric detection method, which enables it to achieve outstanding selectivity while avoiding interferences with other chemical substances within the sample gas or liquid.
Hiden Analytical Ltd has launched their new, next-generation QGA 2.0 Gas Analyser, which signifi cantly outperforms its predecessor with outstanding improvements in speed, precision, and functionality.
The rapid QGA 2.0 performs 1,000 measurements per second whilst providing superb accuracy, with less than 0.5% error at 1 ppm. The QGA 2.0 has been redesigned for enhanced functionality and easier servicing; it is compatible with all available inlets for versatile gas analysis. This highly advanced device features a simplifi ed start-up with a single button for pump down and software start. This is a compact and lightweight device, Hiden Analytical has also managed to reduce the instrument’s weight for easier portability and lower its footprint by 42% from its predecessor.

The AL4021 is easy to operate and there is minimal time spent on tiresome, maintenance procedures. This highly sophisticated device is simple to operate via a clear 7” touch screen positioned on the front panel. The AL4021 does all the work, from complete integrated chemical processing, including gas stripping, semi-automated calibration and data storage. This device effi ciently carries out the whole procedure and the operator has more time for other tasks, assured that Aero-Laser’s AL4021 will provide extraordinary levels of precision and great results.
Aero-Laser originally developed the AL4021 for environmental and climate research, it is highly acclaimed in both demanding sectors, and since its launch, it has become widely used for formaldehyde emission monitoring of wood, plastic, or fi bre-based products. The AL4021 has proven to be an invaluable tool for manufacturers needing to conform to the ever-more stringent formaldehyde emission legislation across the globe. Visitors to their stand (A1. 533) will have the opportunity to discuss their specifi c needs with the experts from Aero-Laser, and to see the AL4021 live in action.
Aero-Laser will also present the brand new AL8023 H2 monitor.
Hydrogen plays a key role in the energy supply of a greener future. Therefore a high quality of hydrogen is needed. Impurities can cause serious problems, like damaging the membrane of fuel cells.
The AL8023 allows the online monitoring of organic residues in hydrogen in ppm range. A low need for maintenance, automatic operation, ruggedness and reliability are key features of this unique instrument.
Aero-Laser also offers solutions for monitoring of CO, H2

Comprehensive Air Quality Monitor Systems
CAAQMS A Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring System (CAAQMS) will monitor the air quality of a city on a real-time basis. It will continuously measure air pollutants throughout the year in a consistent manner. The air pollutants include SO2 and PM2.5
, NO, NO2 , NH3 , CO, O3 , CO3 , VOC, PM10 . CAAQMS is the high-level variant of the AAQMS air quality monitoring system. It
utilises cutting-edge innovations such as the internet of things for automated data collection, transmission and analysis at the central server. The data is transferred to the server in real-time, with a fl exible interval between 2 and 30 minutes. In the meantime, the data is automatically analysed using advanced AI and can be archived and used accordingly.
SEA SPRAY Tiny particles of seawater that are ejected into the atmosphere by breaking waves, wind and other processes occurring at the ocean’s surface.
MINERAL DUST One of the natural sources of particulate matter is mineral dust in the desert. When air is heated, it becomes less dense, which causes the air to rise up into the atmosphere.
