FLIR, part of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, has unveiled ADGiLE, a fi xed-mounted methane monitoring solution. Featuring optical gas imaging (OGI) with comprehensive edge detection analytics, ADGiLE is the oil and gas industry’s solution to meeting environmental stewardship and effi ciency goals. The system, featuring a pan-tilt gas imaging camera, edge computing device, connectivity, and FLIR United VMS software within a ruggedised package, can help companies address the ever-evolving requirements for reducing methane gas leaks within oil and gas production, transmission, and storage infrastructure.
Designed for wide-scale site video monitoring and continuous leak detection applied to storage tanks, compressors, separators and other equipment in the oil and gas industry, ADGiLE offers an industry-fi rst, end-to-end fi xed methane detection solution that leverages FLIR’s uncooled GF77a OGI technology and is consequential to industry demands concerning methane mitigation.
FLIR ADGiLE pairs the GF77a with platform analytics processed at the edge to detect emissions through automatic early detection, quickly pinpointing the leak source. It provides critical situational awareness of the emission event that is not possible with other methane detection technologies, such as satellite and aerial- based detection methods. Data is displayed via the FLIR United VMS software back at the control room, which can be confi gured with custom alerts, areas of interest, and pre-set imaging pathways for a truly automated experience.
The solution primarily focuses on midstream and high-concentration methane upstream applications. It works to detect and prevent high-volume emission events, compared to FLIR’s existing cooled handheld OGI technology, leveraging FLIR’s unmatched edge detection analytics built upon decades of detection data and experience to deliver consistent, accurate results. The system increases both site effi ciency and safety, as it operates equally well during the day and in total darkness at safe distances, pending atmospheric and site conditions.

FLIR ADGiLE uniquely meets the most serious methane leak detection challenges while providing operational insight to understand emissions that are a part of routine industry processes versus fugitive emission events. The system can also help prevent false readings, saving time and resources by avoiding the need to manually investigate and confi rm specifi c leaks. At the same time, it can still detect intermittent leaks that happen and are too often missed by deployed aerial detection technologies using a wider temporal frequency. A Cost-Eff ective Solution for Precision Water Quality Control Myron L®
Company’s 900 Series multi-parameter water quality monitor/controller is easy to install, easy to use, and does the job of seven separate instruments single-handedly.
Get a comprehensive real-time picture of solution status with continuous readings from up to seven different inputs: 2 Conductivity/Resistivity/TDS/Salinity; 1 pre-amplifi ed pH/ORP; 1 BNC pH/ORP; 1 fl exible 0-20/4-20 mA; 1 RTD Temperature; and 1 Flow/Pulse. % Rejection is also available as a derived value. For maximum accuracy, the Conductivity/ TDS input measurement functions feature the ability to select the solution type used to model the solution under test: KCl, NaCl, or Myron L’s own 442 Natural Water™ Standard. Or program a “User” solution mode when solution constituents and behavior are known. Temperature compensation is automatic to 25°C but can be disabled by the user as required. The pH/ORP input channel works with Myron L pre-amplifi ed pH and ORP sensors which contain precision circuitry that increases accuracy and permits application of the sensors over greater distances. The 0-20/4-20 mA input allows user-defi ned 0 to full scale values and units of measure for a wide variety of sensor types. Electronic or wet calibrations are easy to perform.
Automatically trigger control equipment and audible signals and continuously report and record solution data with fl exible outputs. The 900 features up to 3 relays; 2 remote alarms; 1 0-20/4-20 mA signal; 1 0-5/0-10 VDC signal; and 1 RS-485 ASCII serial signal. Relays output to any user-supplied control equipment requiring up to 250V each and can trigger on any input parameter. The 0-20/4- 20 mA output can transmit a signal for any input parameter. 0-5/0-10 VDC can be scaled to optimize resolution and can output to a recorder, PLC, SCADA system, etc. 0-1 VDC is possible with optional resistor.
