Environmental team cleans up O

UR environmental teams have been delighting customers by helping them keep their

gardens neat and tidy while making communities cleaner, greener and safer.

Our environmental teams are out in our communities cutting grass, clearing bulk waste and weeding. One happy customer is James McKeown from Pollokshaws in Glasgow. He used to cut the grass himself but isn’t able to anymore, so the backcourt became very overgrown. Our South environmental team, led

by Sean Forker, sprang into action and cut the grass as well as weeding and clearing the path. Mr McKeown said: “It’s quite a

transformation! Sean and his team worked really hard as there was a lot to cut and clear away. I live on the ground floor and it has made such a difference – now I can look out to a nice tidy garden.” Regional Manager Susan Mackie said:

BEFORE

“Our dedicated environmental teams provide close cleaning and year-round back court maintenance services. The backcourt maintenance regime includes regular tidy-ups of garden areas, which now extend right through winter.” We are currently reviewing our

environmental service for customers in Edinburgh and the east. We’ll be speaking to customers early next year

AFTER WHAT A DIFFERENCE: Environmental staff transformed this Pollokshaws garden

to get their thoughts on what works best for them. To sign up for our backcourt maintenance or close cleaning services, just get in touch with one of our business advisors. We’ll write to all owners in your block, and if a majority agree to opt into the service, we can arrange that.
