Seeing your clothes on the catwalk at London Fashion Week is a dream for many designers. Olivia Overton, former Fashion Design student, was invited to showcase her designs at London Fashion Week after reaching the finals of two major national contests: Fashion Awareness Direct (FAD) and the British Fashion Council’s (BFC) Burberry Fashion Design Competition. In the latter, Olivia won an internship with the Burberry design team thanks to her collection focused on women’s ‘coming of age’ and inspired by tribes in Ethiopia and South America.
