CINCINNATI METROPOLITAN HOUSING AUTHORITY (CMHA) IMPLEMENTING A NEW INCENTIVE PROGRAM

Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing

Authority is implementing a new in- centive program! A $2000 payment will be made to owners who provide a home to families leasing through the New Admissions process. The proper- ty must be located in Hamilton County. Incentives will end October 31, 2021 or until funds are expended. To apply for the incentive pro- gram, complete the agreement attached to the HAP contract. Applications must be submitted with completed HAP contracts. The application may not be submitted with the RTA. The incentive is for New HCV Participants only!

INCENTIVE DETAILS AND FAQ CMHA’s new incentive program was implemented to expand

affordable housing opportunities for families leasing through the new admission process, including port-ins from other jurisdictions. • What are New Admission Families? Those recently pulled from the wait list and have not been under a HAP contract with CMHA in the last 24 months. Owners will not be eli- gible for leasing to voucher holders moving from one unit to another or transferring.

• The HAP contract must be signed and submitted back to

CMHA within 30 days to avoid de- layed contracts. • This offer does not provide or imply any obligation or right of dispute re- garding qualifications for an incentive payment. • How long will the incentives last? They will begin with RTAs submit- ted August 1, 2021 and end October 31, 2021 or until funds are expended, whichever comes first. • Payments are subject to approval by CMHA and will be made by direct de- posit to the entity on record for receiv- ing the HAP for the unit. • CMHA reserves the right to collect

payments made in to any entity/person through future pay- ments or by other collection methods.

CMHA MISSION STATEMENT To be a leader in the housing industry by providing exception-

al housing opportunities while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction, promoting self-sufficiency and neighborhood stabil- ity, and being a long-term asset to the community.
