RECONNECT, RESET AND RECOVER

BOOK IN FOR WE L LNE S S WE EKEND

After three lockdowns and people being separated from family and friends, consumers are looking ahead to meeting once again in a relaxing and safe environment.

The opportunity to make new memories and enjoy different experiences is finally at our fingertips. For some, there will still be a preference to meet in the great outdoors so stunning Herefordshire venue The Orchard at Munsley has created an inspiring opportunity for small groups of friends or family to enjoy some special time together.

These unique one-day or weekend ‘reconnect’ sessions are also designed to help friendship or social groups to reset and recover from the challenges of the last year.

Not only does this venue provide the perfect exclusive haven to meet up outdoors, but groups can choose from a wide range of relaxing and uplifting experiences which will take place inside a tipi within the beautiful apple orchard.

Subject to availability, guests can select from yoga, candle making, macrame making, beauty treatments, Q&A with a dietician/healthy recipe inspiration, pizza making, cocktail classes and summer flower wreaths and crowns. All homemade refreshments will be provided and included in the price from the local Trumpet Corner Cafe.

Guests can book either a one-day experience during the week or a full weekend for those who live further away or are keen to have some extra me-time.

Booking is now open for the day experiences which will take place for a limited time only on weekdays from 1st – 22nd June and 9th-13th August. Weekend bookings are available on 5/6th, 13/14th and 20/21st June. There is the opportunity to book overnight stays during the week if it is required which includes one or two stunning boutique bell tents, which accommodate up to six people each.

Jayne Pritchard, head of team Orchard, said: “Every single person has been impacted by the pandemic in some way, but it feels like things are finally looking up. It has taken its toll on our minds and bodies and we’ve missed that personal contact many of us crave. However, I understand that whilst people are desperate to meet up with friends again, many are feeling nervous about mixing for the first time and want to do so in a relaxed, safe and informal setting.

“Whether you are a group of tired mums who are recovering from juggling work and home schooling; old childhood friends that are fed up with chatting on Zoom; or a social group who is ready to get together again, this is somewhere for you to truly escape to. On an evening guests can relax around the fire pit and watch the sun go down in a calm, quiet and open space. They can also stroll around the orchard or relax together in the tipi.”

Guests will receive goodies from Herefordshire business Willy’s Apple Cider Vinegar. Willy’s ACV is live, organic and is a daily dose of wellness.

The Orchard at Munsley is a cider apple farm near Ledbury. It is also a stunning blank canvas, outdoor, wedding space that gives brides and grooms the freedom to create their wedding, their way. Whether that's an informal, festival-themed party with street food and barrows of booze or a more formal, three-course sit down affair in a marquee.
