STILL WOMAN ENOUGH Loretta Lynn

Gosh darn it … she is fierce. She may

be a coal miner’s daughter, but Loretta Lynn is country music royalty right now and always will be. I loved her last album produced by Jack White, titled Van Lear Rose, released in 2004. It really hit a strong spot in my heart. Now, Lynn is releasing her 50th

studio album

and she is Still Woman Enough to fly like a canary in a coal mine through these dark times with an uplifting delivery. Lynn is also bringing some very fine country gals with her for some duets: Reba McEntire, Tanya Tucker, Carrie Underwood and Margo Price. Now that’s some fine company. Loretta Lynn is still a “Honky Tonk Girl” with a wise and strong woman underneath it all. Available March 19

BUILD A PROBLEM dodie

Introspective, whimsical and thought-provoking with simple and lush orchestral arrangements … dodie discovers a way into the heart. She sings like a modern English maiden who is able to express her emotions like a Genevieve from Camelot in the world of today. “Sorry” is a stunner of a song that causes chills with its beauty and uniqueness. There is also a softer Kate Bush essence found a la “Running Up That Hill” vibe in a couple of her songs that comes through at times. Take the song “Hate Myself” and you can hear the rhythms and beats in perfect synch with her delivery and style. The daydream is realized and shines bright by dodie on the album, Build a Problem. Available March 26
