child Sponsorship 4

Child Sponsorship is where the outreach of World Missionary Evangelism began. In the 1950’s, WME’s founder Dr. John E. Douglas, Sr. responded to an unbeliever’s challenge to put his faith into action by caring for seven orphaned children in India left to survive without anyone to rely on and with nowhere to go.

Now over 60 years later, it is the love and support of WME Sponsors that has helped change the lives of countless children. When you move in faith to show compassion for these children, you help us to set a godly course for their futures.

YOU MAY ASK, “WHAT EXACTLY DOES CHILD SPONSORSHIP DO?” For many children who would have been condemned to violence, hunger, illiteracy, sickness or even death, Child Sponsorship is their best opportunity to grow up, learn and thrive, go to school, make friends and find acceptance. These sponsored children eat nutritious food, and many receive new clothing and shoes. Those living in WME Children’s Homes have a safe place to rest their heads. Christian staff care for their needs and demonstrate God’s love. And they hear about the Savior who willingly laid down His life so they could experience abundant life.

IT ONLY TAKES $35 PER MONTH TO SPONSOR A CHILD AND CHANGE THE COURSE OF A SINGLE, YOUNG LIFE.

And there are still so many children who need someone to provide them with hope for a new beginning today and a better future tomorrow. We firmly believe that children whom you sponsor can transform their families,

their communities and, eventually, their nations.

Please join with WME and pledge your monthly support of $35 per month to rescue the life of one precious child drowning in poverty.
