Bibles. Tracts & Gospel Story Books
There is one request we hear repeatedly from the field. Native Missionaries are constantly pleading, “PLEASE SEND MORE BIBLES!” They want to give the people they serve a Bible to study or a Gospel story book to teach children about Jesus.
For a moment, consider your own experience. Have you ever opened a Bible and had a particular scripture literally jump off the page? Perhaps you were discouraged, hurting or seeking wisdom, and you read a verse that gave you comfort and encouragement. It’s a precious experience.
So imagine then what it means to someone seeking to know Jesus more to have a Bible in their own native language. For many people in other countries, getting a Bible is not as simple as going to the local bookstore or ordering online. For them, a Bible is hard to come by.
That is why World Missionary Evangelism continues to send Bibles, Gospel story books and Christian materials to the places where we work. Some areas need Bibles for youth camps and small group studies. Others need New Testaments to distribute as they witness in villages. Pastors want Bibles to put in the hands of new believers. Those working with children need Gospel story books, VBS materials and Christian DVDs. Teachers and students at Bible schools are hungry for any solid Christian reference books they can get.
The cost to give Bibles and Christian materials is small, but it makes an eternal difference. Just think! You can enable a believer on the other side of the world to study God’s Word, to get
grounded in their faith, and to deepen their relationship with Jesus. Your gift of $25 will supply adult Bibles, children’s Bibles, Gospel story books or Christian writings to souls needing to hear the message of salvation.
