Agricultural Projects

For many of us, a good meal can be found at a nearby refrigerator, pantry or grocery store. But for children and adults suffering with hunger, the importance of a nutritious meal cannot be overstated.

We can provide a hungry child or adult with a meal TODAY, but what about TOMORROW? How can we create a sustainable solution for hunger TOMORROW?World Missionary Evangelism has found one effective solution for ending hunger is supplying farm animals or seed for crops.

Farm animals and livestock can sustain an entire family by providing eggs, milk, cheese, meat and other nutritious products. And a family can sell extra food products or animal offspring at a local market.

Seeds can provide enough for a modest farm or a crop that potentially can feed a family and then produce enough income for other necessities. Some of our WME Children’s Homes use seeds in gardens to provide a reliable food source for their children.

Ways to get involved:

CHICKENS – Gift of $100 RABBITS – Gift of $100 MILK GOATS – Gift of $150

MILK COW OR WATER BUFFALO – Gift of $300 WORK HORSE – Gift of $575 SEEDS FOR CROPS – Gift of $15

These agricultural projects also teach

valuable skills and promote self-sufficiency. That’s an incredible blessing for a family and a big step forward for the community.
