“YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME” FEBRUARY CD’S TO
HEATHER PORCARO & THE HEARTSTRING SYMPHONY
Heather Porcaro
Lyrically, Heather Porcaro reminds me
of Sheryl Crow as her songs combat complicated things in a vibrant and intelligent way. Musically, she has a unique voice which spurs a robust and delicate balance. In a music world which has tipped the scales in favor of Taylor Swift or (insert rap artist name here) Porcaro is a fresh breeze of sonics … her songs are arranged and played with an open honesty and beautifully done. Her latest single off Heather Porcaro & The Heartstring Symphony is “I Wanna Know” and slinks in as if to find the man who done her wrong. With astounding clarity on the song, Heather proves love rules. As well, if I may be so bold, her righteous “New Breakdown” hits me like a new groove for 2021 ala mode Sheryl Crow’s “All I Want To Do.” Heather can handle this modern scene quite phenomenally.
