CMHA: HELP HOUSE OUR HEROES
Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) encour- ages you to consider participating in the HUD-VASH program. It is an excellent opportunity for you to provide affordable housing solutions to the men and women who served in the United States military. CMHA and the Cincinnati VA work together to provide housing and supportive services for veterans struggling with home- lessness. HUD just recently awarded CMHA with funding to support 32 additional veterans. Property owners that Help House Our Heroes between now and
February 28, 2021, qualify for a $700 incentive. If you are interested in assisting one of our most vulnerable populations, please call the VA Community Outreach Division at (513) 977-6800. The VA is also looking for an owner with multiple units to
attach project based assistance to for the veteran population. Here are some additional details. • The VA provides ongoing case management and supportive services for the Veterans.
• CMHA provides housing subsidy with a voucher. • The incentive is available only for new move-ins located in
all of Hamilton County.
