GINNYHOWE

mylast blogIfailedtointroduce the latest team mascot of GHE. ‘Skippy’, an extremely cheeky and entertaining pet pygmygoat. He arrived early in Marchand provided endless hours of entertainment as ababy, doing the most ridiculous things. Totally spoilt and owning his place at the yard. As Skippy has grown up, his following has grown withhim and now he is almost famous -Imean he has his own Instagram page!!! From what started as funnyvideos postedon myInstagram, it soon became apparent after manymessages saying how mucheveryone lovedhis anticsand following his adventures from straw bale to haybale to evenfalling in the bin in the house. On the 31st Oct with the 2nd lockdown

total natural but it was evident the trust she took from us. By daysix, she was happily riddenoff the lunge and trotting around the arena. By day eight, we had steering, breaks and eventrotting over poleson the floor. Her temperament is incredible and sucha

quicklearner, naturally forward and enjoying her riddenwork but as Ihave already said, she is very muchone of akind and we were totally guidedbyher in progression time. Over the next few weeks, we will continue

to work withher bothriddenand, on the ground to develop her education before she goesbackin the field to think about what she has learnt. She is certainly one for the future if she continues

to take everything in her stride like this. The event horseswill soon be coming back

off their holidays, I cannot believe it’s that time already. Hopefully by the time they are fit enough we will be spending the next few months show jumping and preparing for the coming season. But currently it’s just practice, at home for the young oneswithnoshow to go to, fingers crosseditwon’t be too long. It has beenbrought to myattention that in

hours away, we decidedithad to be done... @SkippyTheInstaGoat had to be a thing. Providing heart warming clips, on adaily basis, with the aim of putting asmile on people’s facesin the tough times. We are extremely lucky at GHE to be working outside withanimals like Skippy and all our equines continuing withour jobs almost as normal. Behind the group we have Emily, Hannah,

Katie and myself. We have some great, so if you want some fun give him afollow! Skippy evensecuredhis own clothing

sponsor! Thanks to Storm Workwear, based near Buckingham who kindly providedhim withanew fancy Weatherbeeta goat coat! He is all set for winter... are you?
