lastlockdown hereonthe Isle of Wight, so I started having virtual lessons with my fabulous Instructor, Annabel Darrall Rewwho is based in Cornwall. Nowhaving alesson whilstyou areonthe Isle of Wight and your Instructoris in Cornwall would have been totally impossible afew yearsago,but with an ingenious app called Movensee and aPixem robot camera this becomestotally possible,and it works very well indeed. Ihaveheard that people have had success with FaceTime lessons and Pivo Meet as well. We have become unbelievably creativewith our visual communication during this pandemic and having remote lessons at adistancehas been agodsend. We aresuch adetermined lot, us horse
riders, and it would seem that we arevery good at actively creating ways to continue competing and enjoying our horsesdespite these strangetimesweare living in. Letus hope it all getsback toamorenormal than newnormal soon. Ifor one am pleased that online competing has takenoff so successfully, it is making 2020 awholelot morebearable.
