MADE IN THE EAST MIDLANDS

This unprecedented chain of events has certainly given us all a fresh perspective on the way we all operate our businesses, and it showcases to us all that adaptability is key in the modern business world. There will be plenty for us all to reflect on once this has passed. Our design and planning services remain unhindered and we are open and ready to help businesses adapt to any challenges the future may hold. The pandemic has given many businesses the opportunity to re-evaluate their in-office model and look for smarter working solutions. By introducing a hybrid working environment whereby employees have the flexibility to work from home and the office, businesses can easily adapt to future demands or the next global crisis. The working collective in society has witnessed several advantages of “new normal” employability, such as the attraction of new talent, increased positivity and staff motivation.

‘By investing in the future, businesses are able to discover new ways to work smarter’

Considering these aspects, several disadvantages have

also arisen. Businesses operate on an interpersonal level and a large part of our daily interactions are based on our ability to see colleagues in conversation. This usually allows the true essence of business to come to life and advance brainstorming that can initiate new ideas or corporate proposals. As we get closer to 2021, now is a good time to reflect

on areas that work well in businesses, things that could be done better and how we can create a flexible yet collaborative working environment for members of staff. By investing in the future, businesses are able to discover new ways to work smarter, improve competitive positions and put the certainty in moments of uncertainty.
