MONEYWATCH FINANCE FIRST FOR FINANCIAL ADVICE

The team with offices based in Halesowen, Solihull & Harborne Moneywatch Finance were celebrating last month after scooping a prestigious industry award from SME Finance.

The company was awarded Best Property Mortgage & Insurance Advisers 2020 - West Midlands in testament to their excellence, commitment and dedication in their field.

An independent judging panel takes note of all supporting documentation provided and supplied via nominees. Awardees must be able to demonstrate expertise, dedication to client service and satisfaction and commitment to excellence and quality.

Organisers say: “This approach has brought us much success and commendation throughout its use and enforces SME News' stance that victors are not determined by popularity of votes, but by their contributions to their industry and sector.”

BIDFORD PET CO 98

GROOMED FOR SUCCESS A new Warwickshire pet store specialising in horse products has proved so popular that it could create four or more jobs by next spring.

Bidford Pet Co Ltd, a pet shop and farm feed retailer, opened on the Bidavon Industrial Estate in Bidford-on-Avon during the COVID-19 lockdown in July. Business partners Kelly-Louise Burrows and Ashleigh Taylor, who previously worked together in a dog-grooming business, launched the pet shop after seeing a gap in the market.

Ms Burrows said: “Things have been really good since we opened, with takings growing much faster than we thought, especially given the current economic conditions.

“It’s the personal order and delivery service that has proved so successful because people just aren’t enjoying shopping themselves following COVID-19.”The new shop already has part time help from Ms Taylor’s mother and it could employ two shop workers in 2021 if the early success continues.

.

Peter Hunt, of Moneywatch Finance, said: “Everyone at Moneywatch Finance are very proud of this award as it is given based on the knowledge, professionalism, hard work, trustworthiness and client satisfaction.
