Kelly Houtappels-Bruder Wins Silver At The 2020 FEI Driving World Championship For Singles


Ottawa, ON, Nov. 26, 2020 – Kelly Houtappels-Bruder, an Ontario native residing in Steensel, NED, brought home the silver medal at the 2020 FEI Driving World Championship for Singles, held Oct. 21-26 in Pau, FRA. The Championship was


a combined driving event, which features three phases of competition: dressage, a cross-country marathon and obstacle cone driving. Sim- ilar to eventing, scores and times from each phase are converted to penalty points and the competitor with the lowest combined score after all three phases is the win- ner.
