NOVEMBER 2020 THE RIDER /17 Ontario Bred Born or Owned Reining Futurity Final Show

By Sharon Jones The Final Show for the Ontario Bred Born

or Owned Reining Futurity Final Show was a huge success September 2020 marked the final year of the

Ontario Bred Born or Owned Reining Futurity (OBBO), and what a fabulous way for this suc- cessful program to end. The OBBO began in 1991 by a group of owners and riders who got together for their love of the sport, with a goal of promot- ing their young reining horses in Ontario.

Message from the OBBO Committee: We had many individuals over the 29 years, that have worked tirelessly to make this a successful Futu- rity. Hats off to you all. None of the success could have happened

without all our sponsors’ support and generosity through the years. Thanks to this year’s Futurity sponsors: Western Rawhide, Kelly Plitz, Home Hardware, Mulmur Spring Farm, FG Pro Shop, M.T.S, Buckskin Horse Designs, Gus Revenberg Chevrolet-Buick-GMC, Glendarvon Farms Per- formance Horses, ORHA, Muttt Ultimate Tandem Trailer Toolkit, Brooks Per- formance Horse Feed, Mane Lane Quarter Horses, Champ Enterprises, Jonas Perform- ance Horses, Pleasant Ridge Saddlery, Paris Laser Engrav- ing, Greenhawk- Cambridge, Embroidery by Donna Marie. The 2020 OBBO Futu-

rity was very exciting for the spectators to watch, and those who entered and placed won fabulous

pay-outs and

awards. Congratulations to all

the exhibitors and the horse owners!
