AUTUMN OF ABUNDANCE San Diego County’s LGBTQ community will come together virtually

on Sunday, November 15 for Autumn of Abundance — a benefit for the North County LGBTQ Resource Center. Participants will enjoy a livestream program filled with musical

performances, fun mystery boxes and a message from Executive Director Max Disposti about how the Center is responding to the pandemic and continuing to provide services during this time of critical need. The mission of the Center is to serve, empower and advocate for

North San Diego County’s diverse LGBTQ community. The organization envisions a community where everyone lives in equality, feeling accepted, valued, safe and free from social stigma.

LGBT VETERANS WALL OF HONOR The San Diego LGBT Community Center will honor the 2020 inductees

into the Benjamin F. Dillingham, III & Bridget Wilson LGBT Veterans Wall of Honor. The induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 5, livestreamed from The Center’s Facebook page. Since 2011, the LGBT Veterans Wall of Honor has recognized LGBTQ

veterans who served under the military’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy, and transgender and nonbinary veterans, all with ties to San Diego. By serving our country honorably, and with distinction, each veteran honored on this Wall of Honor has served as a role model for advancing equality for all. The LGBT Veterans Wall commemorates these veterans’ lives in hopes that their courage, bravery and sacrifices will continue to inspire future generations. The 2020 San Diego LGBT Veterans Wall of Honor inductees are: El

Bisarra, U.S. Navy; Lynn Pender, U.S. Navy; Jose Rivera III, U.S. Navy; Tristan Sotomayor, U.S. Navy; and Barbara Jean Crusberg, U.S. Marine Corps.

Join the community in honoring the inductees at the virtual ceremony, which will include a brief program with celebration of military colors, the national anthem, recognition of inductees and special remarks.
