Rolling fender kit for finger piers M
aintenance-free fenders designed to install on finger piers attached to pontoons can be obtained
as kits from Ibericamar Sl. These high quality fenders manufactured from 316 stainless steel and Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) combine horizontal rotary movement and some vertical elevation. They are horizontally adjustable and their installation on the pontoon rail is quick and easy. In operation, the HF200 rolling
fender placed on the head of the finger assists in aligning a boat to its berth, particularly in windy conditions. When leaving the berth, the rolling fender will also facilitate this manoeuvre by allowing a craft to pivot on it. In addition to having the ability to
rotate horizontally, the other two HF200V units on the finger also have vertical displacement that allows more gentle absorption of contact with the boat. The ideal place for the installation of these units is the maximum beam of the boat leaving around two metres between them depending on the profile and length of the boat. This space between both fenders would correspond to the maximum beam and would be adequate for the installation of a support fender. The kit consists of one HF200
fender (rotation) and two HF200V fenders (rotation and elevation). Ibericamar Sl
