President elected at virtual AGM
onald W Orr was elected as the new President of SELECT last month as the association held its fi rst-ever
online annual general meeting. The Managing Director of Unitech Services Ltd in Carluke, Lanarkshire, is a long-standing SELECT member and serves on a number of committees as well as representing the association externally. He said: “It is a great honour to be elected as the new President of SELECT, and I’m privileged to follow in the footsteps of my distinguished colleagues. “I look forward to continuing the association’s excellent work and helping SELECT and its Members successfully navigate the many challenges that lie ahead.” Kevin Griffi n, who has been SELECT President for three years, now becomes

T e Electrotechnical Skills Partnership (TESP) has extended its labour market survey to give SELECT Members more opportunity to take part. T is short poll of electrical
contractors is being held to update previous fi ndings
