These include a protective reception screen, temperature testing facilities, hand sanitiser stations and extra wipes, cleaning products and bins. In addition, SELECT will introduce reduced usage of kitchens and toilets for when staff do return, along with clear safety signage, physical distancing enforced in all areas, increased cleaning and one entrance and exit.
an apprentice aircraft mechanic until a trip in a small plane made him realise he had no head for heights. He duly switched to an electrical apprenticeship with McCowan and Guild before going on to work for Andrew Bell, Parkinson’s and Scott’s. As well as working on the
construction of Ninewells Hospital, Jack was an electrician at Perth Prison, Castle Huntly and the Maze in Northern Ireland, before starting his own fi rm in 1996. Connor will now continue to run
the business in Jack’s memory. Jack is survived by his wife Hilary,
daughters Susan and Donna, fi ve grandchildren and a great- granddaughter.
